Mid-City McDonald's
This one's a two-parter. My next post will be what happened 10 seconds after I saw this pose, and what makes me wonder what kind of something she was smoking...
these are great! Are these drawn and painted directly in PS or Painter? Or sketched and scanned and painted? And how long does it usually take you to complete one sketch like this last one? Inspiring none the less.
Kevin, I think half the time I draw on paper then scan and color in Photoshop and the other half I do it all in photoshop. It depends on the style I want for it. It was much quicker to do these when I had a Cintiq at work, but I had to give it up for now. I usually do these on my lunch break. So they average about an hour or so. This current one was spread over a few lunch hours. I wanted it to have a certain line quality so I took a little extra time. I drew this one with pencil on paper first then painted it in PS.

Thanks for the info Gary. I'm just starting to paint more in PS and draw more on the Wacom.
